The Lighthouse Wharf Hotel

Nice food and atmosphere. Located strategically in the corner opposite Fishermans Wharf Port Adelaide. Price are not so low, but quality is great.

Very long wait between kids meal and mains made it a difficult meal. Ideally kids meals shouldn't be finished and cold before others come out.

The two middle age female staff members working had the worst customer service I've experienced in years(Friday 1st April). One was quite verbal about how annoyed she was that someone called to book a table at 7:45pm on a Friday. Good range of beers & ciders. Nice location. Didn't eat any food. Staff let it down.

We visited about a month or so ago Walk in and greated by staff . We got an entree of prawns and tried the blackened chicken and cous cous and the sliders . The prawns were over cooked and the sauce was ordinary. The chicken was so over cooked you could have hammered a nail into the bench with it. The sliders were over cooked and the buns were more like croutons. We spoke to the bar and management came out and spoke to us . We decided to order the squid. They didnt charge us for it and gave us a free drink but didnt give us our money back for the inedible meals. Wont be going back .

Checked out the newly revamped Lighthouse Hotel over the weekend. Rang to make a booking & if first impressions were anything to go by we knew it would be a great night. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service was upbeat & friendly and the new look of the pub suits the new vibe around Port Adelaide. We were impressed with the menu and the opportunity to 'add' to many of the options e.g. Soft shell crab, prawns or chicken. Our shared starter of the onion rings were really tasty & my main course of a seafood platter was great value.
