Virginia's On The Bay - Port Aransas

The Crab Cake was incredible! The Calamari and Coconut Shrimp were also fantastic! The food was absolutely worth the wait!

We were searching for a great place for lunch that offered a waterfront view, quality food, excellent service, and that special "wow" factor—Virginia's definitely delivered!

I began my experience at the restaurant with the host appearing a bit annoyed that I preferred not to sit at the bar. Instead of offering us a table away from the bar, he seated us right next to it.

Looking for a lunch spot, we decided to try Virginia. The atmosphere was great, the service attentive, and the food was delicious. My husband ordered the sampler, which included fish, shrimp, and oysters, while I had a shrimp po'boy. My po'boy was filled with four large shrimp, and the tartar sauce was excellent. For dessert, we shared a slice of lime cake that was tasty, though it had an unusual green thorn on top. The restaurant also offers a beautiful view of the ships passing by from the nearby lighthouse.

Amazing lunch. Hubby and I both have the sampler (fish, shrimp and oysters) with side salads. The salads were beautifully large, the food was abundant. We made both boxes. We had great service from Chris. It was about the area and what the fishermen were bringing fresh. We definitely go back when we're in the area. It was $77.
