Ala Carte Care - Port Clinton

A charming little café where you can always count on great hospitality and a hearty breakfast. I visit this small town once a year for some excellent fishing on the lake, and I always make it a point to stop by Ala Carte for breakfast before heading home. It's a cozy spot where you’re greeted with a smile and can trust that you'll receive a satisfying meal. I had the French toast along with eggs and bacon. The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are just right. It's a wonderful little place that I've returned to year after year.

I had the Mexican omelet, and it was fantastic! The service was also excellent and very friendly. I added sour cream and salsa on the side, which was a nice touch. I returned for the blueberry pancakes, eggs, and domestic fries—absolutely delicious!

After my motorcycle 2,000 miles I was hungry at 4:30.... I thought nothing was open, but they were here. Very friendly staff, clean place and breakfast was great!

We finally discovered some great food during our visit to Port Clinton. I do wish the booths were a bit more spacious, as it felt quite cramped. Our server wasn't very friendly, but the delicious food definitely made up for that!
