Happy Chinese Food - Port Coquitlam

Happy has been our choice for Chinese food for years. We are always treated with courtesy. We have tried almost everything on the menu, and have our favorites like the squid with spicy salt or prawns with swirled egg that we order every time along with some different dishes. The restaurant is clean and the service attentive. If there is a long wait , we are told in advance. The food is ample, delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend it highly.

Happy is our 'go to ' for Chinese food.  The portions are generous and the food is always excellent.  We have tried over the years most of the food on the menu and have never really disliked any of the dishes that we have tried, but  do have many favourites that we order from the menu on a regular basis.  We are always greeted cordially when we arrive as we usually eat in,  and are thanked for coming in when we leave.  If they are very busy, we are warned ahead of time that the food will take longer to come.  This is a favourite for many and they have many customers that order take out.  I highly recommend this restaurant.

Happy Chinese Restaurant??. Happy is the last thing I feel when I 've called or gone to this restaurant!! The lady at the front is extremely rude and must hate her job! I too have called to place an order and have been told that they are too busy? If you really want to be 'un busy ' then keep up the good work and soon no one will be ordering from you! PS change the name of your restaurantIt 's doesn 't reflect the service!

Great Secret in North PoCo. We ordered take out from Happy Chinese in North Port Coquitlam for the first time tonight. I am picky about Chinese Food as I worked in Richmond for years ... I need flavour, no MSG and no grease. <br/ <br/ Happy Chinese met my requirements!<br/ <br/ The prices are quite reasonable. The service was quick. The portions were huge. <br/ <br/ Will certainly go back again : <br/ <br/ Try it. You'll like it!

First Timer ... Good Start!. Ordered two take out items. Pan fried beef with rice noodle (wet) and chicken and black bean sauce. The noodle dish was nicely prepared and cooked with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and sufficient sauce on soft noodles but unfortunately was somewhat bland in flavour, so soy sauce was definitely mandatory. The chicken in black bean sauce dish was unbelievable and likely the best I ever had. Extra large, juicy and tender white breast chicken fillets was something unexpected here. Sauce was very flavourful.<br/ <br/ They do not use MSG in all of their dishes which is a plus. Will definitely order here in the future and try out several other dishes in order to form a better opinion overall.
