Barney's Tavern - Port Elizabeth

Barney's Tavern though is easy on the tongue. It is a great place to have a drink and a bite and has a beautiful sea view. The service is friendly as you got used to over the years visiting PE, now Gqeberha. A special mention must go to the friendly staff. It is also not everyday that when you loose valuables or forget it at a place, that you will get it back. So thank you for all the staff for keeping and returning the laptop we forgot. There is enough variety of food to choose from the menu and keep yourself up to date with the buy one get one pizza free. Cheers on Barney's Tavern. See you soon.

Enjoyed an evening of live music, good drinks and a delicious meal. The portions were incredible and well-worth the price. The service was impeccable and relatively fast. Definitely a place I would go to again to kill some hours and get fed good food.

Cool evening at Barney! Live music on a Thursday. Hard a large table of friends and just did drinks and 2 baskets for the table. Enjoyable evening and the fire and service was decent. Was thankful to Riaan (manager) for securing us a table on the deck as the evening was beautiful. No complaints, just the speakers were super lost so pick take wisely!

Would recommend a visit and the chicken snitzel. Dinner was delicious, a colleague had the steak and kidney pie. Their milkshakes was served cold and quite thick, no complaints. We also had a lovely view over the ocean

Awesome location right on the beach. Very friendly service and good happy hour specials. Take-out fried peppadew chicken burger with chips and onion rings were also great value for money. Very popular local hangout with clearly good reason.
