Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, but I was not very impressed overall. The service was friendly. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with curried rice. The quesadilla was lacking in fillings and the rice was a large, unseasoned lump. I would not recommend this dish.
The prices are reasonable, and the meal is freshly made so expect to wait a bit for it. However, it is definitely worth it! We would definitely revisit if we are in the area again.
This had to be the worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant. For over 35 years I have travelled for work and pleasure extensively. The service was excellent, the pricing was okay , the restaurant was clean , but the food was awful. As stated in other reviews my meal was contaminated with a fish taste. The noodles in my carbonara tasted like fish as did the focaccia style bread and Caesar salad. I would not go back.
Small restaurant nestled in an old train station on the waterfront, in front of the boardwalk. Not hard to find using Goggle Maps. Quiet setting with a beautiful view. Excellent food, much of it local. Reasonable prices. They do takeout. Excellent stop for travellers.
I had never heard of this little place and it's hard to find, but worth it. The place isRun by the owners and they are very kind and friendly, the owner was actually our waiter for the evening. You can see the kitchen as soon as you walk in and it is clean. As mentioned in other reviews the menus are glued to the table, weird, so we asked why, she told us it is cleaner than handling menus other people have handled, makes sense. Comfort food with a twist is how they explain themselves. I had turkey Shepard's pie, which was tasty, with a side of their house salad, I recommend the house salad. Hubby had the pan fried haddock, he said the fish was okay, but the vegetables and potatoes were great.
