If you like dive bars this is the place for you. If you're looking for a place to get ratchet with your drunk friends, this is the place. Not the kind of bar to come to talk with friends. Music was loud, I couldn't hear the person 2 feet from me. The reason why I give it 2 stars is because there was so much smoke inside I ended up getting a sinus infection. I'm convinced this was the culprit. However, they have karaoke here so it makes for a fun night if you are in that sort of mood.

This is one of the coolest bars I've been too. The people are great, the bar tenders are amazing and the atmosphere is awesome. It has two pool tables, dart board, dance area and karaoke on Saturdays. Fancy nancy and Charlene are amazing bar tenders. Ask them for a special shot if you need a good smooth shot. Come by and enjoy the fun times and great friends.

I always wondered about this place growing up in Oxnard. A bar on the ground floor of an apartment complex? That 's freaking awesome! Makes me want to become a landlord. I find myself here for karaoke on Friday nights if I get into the area before the weekend. Great bartenders, pool tables, jukebox, and a couple TVs to watch Like their Facebook page so you 're up-to-date on events and random musings.

You can dive if you want to, you can leave all dives behind. I don't care what anyone says; this place is a nasty dump squat. If you want to take a box of antibacterial wipes with you, then okay. If you don't mind disease, okay, go there and sit with the TB-emitting patrons all night long. Gross. Nasty. No character or flavor. Just a sh*thole that actually does smell like a bad case of IBS. 4/21/09: Actually, I want to amend my review, only because another time I returned (Why did I return? Because I enjoy pain! the scene was mellower and the Irish bartender exuded friendliness, waxing on about the Coachella festival, which he'd recently enjoyed. This place seems to be a watering hole for Harley riders, which is interesting enough, but made more so by the ethnic diversity of this group. Who knew?

This bar is CRAZY fun! They have a great mix of Locals, Navy and Bikers. The bartenders are the sh#t! They have a couple of cute girls, an East Coast transplant guy and a biker that doubles as the bouncer on weekends, working behind the bar. ALL of them have an attitude...but that 's a good thing. If you 're in the mood to talk some smack, come prepared, these folks are professionals. The atmosphere is a classic dive bar! Although as the owner says, It 's the classiest dive bar in Ventura County! The beers are the coldest I 've ever had. They open up their pool tables on Tuesdays and the games are fast and a LOT of fun. LOTS of pool players here. From newbies to guys/girls on tornament teams, everyone is welcome to play. Friday nights they have Karaoke and the place is packed. Everyone there makes you feel like family...even the bouncer...although he gets like your angry dad at times. Only if you give him a reason, though. If you 're looking for a place to chill with really cool people, Top Deck is the place to be. Don 't let the hole-in-the-wall appearance, or the smokers hanging out front with the bikers worry ya. This place is fun, safe, and worth the trip. They have big screen TVs that are always on SOMETHING! Football season on Sunday mornings and Monday nights are the Sh#t!
