The Club A Public Steakhouse

A great choice for our search of water view restaurants here on LI. Great service...menu...wine list. Our porterhouse for two was tender very tasty. Didn 't need to add anything or sauce to it. Kudos to everyone who made our dinner a very pleasantexperience.

Went here for my own and my friend's birthdays and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious, all hot and fresh. Steak was cooked perfectly. Wine service was great. Our waiter (sorry I forgot his name! was very attentive and veryfriendly. Will definitely come back when the weather is nicer so we can sit outside.

We visited while on vacation and were uncertain if the restaurant was open to the public since it’s located in a country club. We called ahead and made reservations, and I must say that my husband and I enjoyed the best steak and lamb we've ever had! The service was fantastic as well!

The steak was decent, but the burrata was extremely disappointing—definitely the worst I’ve ever had. The mozzarella was tough, and the prosciutto was a dark brown color, making me wonder if it was spoiled. Additionally, the grounds seemed a bit run-down compared to my last visit when it was Lombardi's.

The 42 oz porter is incredible! My wife and I shared it, along with the garlic herb butter, mashed potatoes, and broccoli, and everything was fantastic. The drinks were excellent, the ambiance was enjoyable, and the service was top-notch. I would give it a five out of five!
