Dodaddy's Seafood - Port Saint Joe

Wow, what a place to eat! DoDaddy and his wife are first class tend to your every need. You do a fantastic job and cook your food. Her heart and soul are in this restaurant and it shows. They even opened us early so we can enjoy their wonderful food. We'll be back.

The food is excellent, the staff is wonderful, and the service is top-notch, with DoDaddy ready to take your order and likely share a story or two. The only downside is that they only refill drinks and don’t provide cups or ice cream. So, if you’re like me and prefer your Coke in a cup with ice, it’s best to bring your own!

No ruffles, great!! Delicious grouping finger basket. Great portions, friendly patron. We were very happy at the end of the day. One of these holes in the wall, Mom and Pop will always hope to stumble over each other when you are on holiday. Very recommended!

GoDaddy's is a fantastic, fresh seafood place. If you're in fried seafood, it's a must in Port St. Joe. The groupers, shrimps and oysters are all delicious. Very recommended. And make sure to talk to Mr. DoDaddy at the checkout, he's a veteran!

This is a very small restaurant, but it does offer outdoor seating that is dog-friendly. We chose to sit outside since we had our two dogs with us. They provided a water bowl and an outdoor faucet for the dogs to drink from. The menu was brief and straightforward, featuring seafood platters and a few sides. We ordered the Triple Play Mega platter, which included two sides, as well as their take on shrimp and grits. My husband and I shared the platter and the shrimp and grits. While the platter was quite tasty, the shrimp and grits could have been improved. The dish contained 4-5 large shrimp smothered in a brown gravy sauce, and the grits had the texture of instant varieties. Although it wasn’t bad enough to deter us from returning, we won’t be ordering the shrimp and grits again. Let's support local businesses!
