Boomers - Port Wentworth

I decided to check out Boomers’ on a whim the day after their grand opening a little over a year ago. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. If only I didn’t live all the way in Jersey, I would visit every weekend! I really wish they offered delivery here! LOL

I had no idea this place was nearby! It's a fantastic spot for travelers, young urban professionals, and families. The atmosphere is vibrant, with enjoyable music, happy hour specials, and delicious food that, while it took a little time, was hot, fresh, and full of flavor! Overall, it was a great first experience!

The food at Boomers is quite impressive! The portion sizes are generous, which is a nice bonus. While the exterior may not catch your eye, the interior is beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff is friendly, but they could be a bit more attentive and timely. Everything I ordered was packaged neatly and looked professional. The shrimp and fries were delicious, though I found the coleslaw to be a bit bland, and the hush puppies were somewhat dry. Overall, I would rate my experience between 4.5 and 4.8 stars. The lovely atmosphere could benefit from some live jazz or other music—just a thought! Great food overall!

Atmosphere is very clean relaxed. Not many people there which I don't understand because the food was very good and our server was a very nice young man. My husband had the NY strip steak, kids had cheese pizza and, I had the blackened shrimp. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. Will definitely be returning very soon since we live right in Rincon.
