I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. For dinner, I spent about £50 to £60 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5!

Friendly country style atmosphere. The staff can't do enough for you and are very attentive, but let you relax and enjoy your meal without hovering over you like in some places. Had the Sunday roast lunch and the quality of the ingredients are obvious on first bite. The roast beef is served up as thick as a steak, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The same effort goes into the veg mash, they're more than just plate fillers, along with the yorkie roastie (and the red wine gravy is delicious). Also had the squid for starters. Lightly battered with a tasty sauce and slaw, notoriously hard to get right, but they do it. And all finished off with the best homemade warm chocolate brownie I've ever had in my life with what I believe was homemade ice cream, the perfect end to a fantastic meal. The only shock you'll get are the prices, it's an absolute bargain. Parking: Plenty of space, no issues even when it's busy.
