Bidra med feedbackUpon entering Brewsters, I was greeted by a noticeable odor reminiscent of damp carpet or possibly stale smoke that seemed to linger in the air, a reminder of the days when smoking was allowed indoors.
I stopped by for a drink with a friend and we decided to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender was rude and quite arrogant. The bar wasn't busy, so we thought service would be smooth, but he ended up getting our drink order wrong and dismissed it as if it were our fault. Overall, I was not impressed with the service at the bar.
The service left much to be desired as well. Our server was a thin young woman with a nose ring who seemed uninterested in her job; her appearance made her look like she had just finished mopping floors at the bowling alley down the street. She started us off with a lukewarm half cup of coffee, took our order, and then we didn’t see her again for about twenty minutes, just when our dinner arrived—my coffee was long gone by then. While the dinner may have looked appetizing, it certainly didn't taste it. As we were leaving, I noticed our waitress standing in the other room, laughing and chatting with the manager, which explained her prolonged absence while we were waiting for service. I remember when this place used to offer a decent dining experience, but unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore. This restaurant really disappointed me.
I wish you had an on-line menu. We searched places to eat, but because there was no menu to see what entrees you serve, we chose another place.
Upon entering Brewster's, there was a distinct odor reminiscent of damp carpet or possibly stale smoke, suggesting that the area hadn't been properly cleaned, if smoking was indeed allowed there.
