Michaelangelos Pizza - Porters Neck

WARNING The online ordering does not work correctly. When trying to order from the Carolina Beach location, it defaults to the Carolina Beach ROAD location in Wilmington, not Carolina Beach. I was quoted a 30 minute pickup time and drove the extra 20 minutes to the wrong location it sent my order to and still waiting another 30 minutes after arrival. Pizza is good but not worth the hassle. Fix your online ordering application.

Great pizza and appetizers. They are really quick here too.

I chose the wrong pizza. That's on me. I ordered Mom's Favorite. Eh. Spinach, tomatoes... not exactly strong flavors. Bad choice. I usually get the 4 cheese. I'll go back to that!

Do not do delivery! It's been 1:45 hrs for 2 calzones to be delivered 2.3 miles. I was drinking when I ordered and didn't want to drive. I'm sober as a judge now! I'm about to go cook because they take so long! EDIT UPDATE... Before making this review I called the store and asked if my order was still in kitchen or already on the road because I was willing to come get it. I was assured it was already out the door. After 2hrs of waiting I called and cancelled the order w refund. Minutes after I get off the phone, they send me an email telling me my order is on its way. SMH... Time to hunt for a new pizza shop.

We used to get pizza here all the time and it was good. We ordered one last night and I drove to pick it up b/c we live 1 mile away and it was a 2 hr delivery time. There were about 10 people working behind the counter. I paid for my order, they said they were putting it in the oven now. I sat down to wait with about 4 other groups waiting. After 20+ minutes I checked on my had to tell them 3 times the name it was under) order and found out it was given to another customer. After the girl at the register told me it was in the oven but I could cancel the order and get a refund or discount but never took any action for either) I told her I'd get the pizza after she said it would be 8 minutes when I asked how long. 15 minutes later I had a pizza and had to ask for the salad I ordered. One kid that was covered in flour said sorry for the wait. Really!? No discount, free desert or anything and I drove there! The pizza had no seasoning and the dough was tasteless. There are a lot of other pizza options in the area. Y'all need to pick up your game! Have people with designated jobs like one only handing out the pizza to make sure it's correct. If the girl that spoke to me was the manager, why was she making pizza there were like 8 other people walking in circles? She should be managing. There was another customer that waited 30 mins for his order and after I asked about mine he got up to get his and it had been sitting on the oven for several minutes. It's pizza people not rocket science.
