Bidra med feedbackOn a recent trip to Portland, we popped in for lunch, and got to watch not only a football match, but let me turn on a college basketball game on another tv, too. Food WOW! The best french onion soup I've ever had. We also got some pulled pork poutine the pulled pork was slow cooked, flavorful, and absolutely wonderful. They had a great selection of local craft beers, but also poured a perfect pint of Guinness, so thank you for that. We absolutely loved Andy's, and cannot wait to go back again soon. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
I’m not sure why this place got good reviews. I went there with my children for lunch, and there were three regulars sitting at the bar, and nobody else in the restaurant. The man behind the bar was very responsive and very nice, and our order came out in a timely manner. The food was mediocre at best. My cesar salad was not appealing at all, my son’s chicken quesadillas were terrible and the mac and cheese bowl was small for the price. We all felt sick later on that evening. So many great restaurants in Portland, unfortunately it was a Monday and most were closed.
Had the haddock and chips and the chowder both where great played a game of pool and after took a walk to the pier great experience.
A great local place! I was in town for a work trip and went here with a group of seven people. The restaurant was about to accommodate by pushing some tables together. We sat up front and were certainly entertained by the live music. The food itself was great! I got the lobster roll which was absolutely perfect. My coworkers said good things about the chowder and potato skins. Andy's also had a great list of locally made beers. I definitely saved this place in my favorites so I can go again on my next trip to Portland!
Go here. Literally… just go here. The food and atmosphere are quintessentially Maine. Fantastic lobster roll and chowder. And just has that New England charm!
