Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant shows some promise, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, be aware that prices have gone up by either $1 or $0.50. If you choose to dine in, expect a minimum wait time of 45 minutes for your food; we placed our order at 4:00 PM and didn't receive our meals until 4:50 PM. I was disappointed that the pork ribs I ordered didn't resemble the ones in the photo. For the price of $13.50, the portion of just 11 rib chunks felt like a significant letdown. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and seems to be making an effort. Next time, I think I'll stick with ordering ribs from Chinese Duck House, as their portions are much larger and the price feels more justified. However, this place could be a good option for tea and drinks; their prices for beverages are reasonable. Thank you, Jong Can!
This restaurant has been closed since the Covid pandemic. Recently, they acquired the entire back lot of their property, which was previously shared with the neighboring Mexican restaurant. After dining at the Mexican restaurant, I returned to find my car being towed by the owner of Jong Can, despite the fact that they've been closed for business for three years. I will not support this establishment when they reopen; they don't deserve anyone's patronage.
My only small complaint is that I wish they offered a small side of their vegetable dishes to complement my meal. However, that's a minor issue. I've never found a Chinese stir-fry restaurant in Portland that I loved, but this spot captured my heart with the very first bite!
Mannn…. I drove all the way to Corvallis to get food just from here. I don’t go no other places but here. The food and wein the service is a nice guy.
I love this place.... So glad I found it. I am kind of a creature of habit and always order the Black Pepper Chicken. It is so delicious I think about it when I'm nowhere near the place. Nice portion. Super fresh and flavorful. Always nice staff and reasonable prices make it a great lunch spot. I just love it and want to make sure this place has enough business to stick around. One tiny caveat...there are never more than one or two people working at once so if it is busy, waiting time can be a little long. Since I only have a 30 minute lunch I have tried to call ahead and order, but that has never worked out as no one seems to answer the phone when I have tried this. Not sure what's going on there, but the food is worth a bit of a wait. Check it out!
