Bidra med feedbackDelicious barbacoa de borrego, blue corn tortillas, and consomé! Will definitely be back
Had the pastor burrito it was the best Burrito I’ve had in Portland so far. Looking forward to coming back!
Let me start by saying I'm usually pretty generous with the way I rate Restaurants. I really how important Yelp is to there success. In this case I'm giving Mis Abuelos a one rating. My wife and me orders a beef burrito and three curritos tacos. They were out of tacos Al pastor. The currito tacos were filled with under rendered pork skin fat some cilantro and raw onions. No taste at all and questionable as to whether I should eat it or not. My wife had the beef burrito and literally took one bite and said she couldn't eat anymore. I ate a few bites and the meet tasted like game meet. Very strange taste for beef. Needless to say it was unappetizing and the burrito ended up in the trash. We love Mexican food and have spent a fair amount of time working and eating food in OAXACA Mexico. Thai food truck missed the mark big time. We won't be eating any Mis Abuelos any more.
This place is the real deal. Barbacoa is just like what you get in Hidalgo. They are on the next level up of Mexican food. I don't know anywhere else you can eat like this in all of Portland.
The only thing I ever get is the PDX burrito, and it’s my current #1 burrito anywhere. It’s good sized, though not too big that it sacrifices quality. The asada is considerably better than most other food trucks, and there’s some kind of sauce or salsa that gives it a tiny bit of heat. My only complaint would be that they don’t have and avocado sauce, though I usually just go buy some from a neighboring truck.
