Bidra med feedbackThe manager of this store went above and beyond after a couple of his employees offered some shabby, age biased service. I won’t go into details because the manager seemed to have taken care of the situation. If not, the details would be here, for sure. Having said that, the food was good and worth a stop. PDX is above and beyond other airport in their food services.
It was my first time trying this place. My boyfriend has had it before but I hadn't heard of it and we don't have any in San Diego as far as I know. Basically, you choose a pizza from their options but can add or subtract anything you want. You get a free coffee with the breakfast pizzas. They all come in sizes of mini, mod and large. We initially took the mini ones but soon realised these were really small, even for me (I'm a small eater). We got the Amelia (red onions, sage, sausage, cheese) breakfast pizza and the Tristan (pesto drizzle, red peppers, onions, cheese, mushroom and I asked for spicy chicken sausage). Both were delicious. Crust is thin which is super. Nice and crisp and tasty. The second pizza we got was a all of the above version of Tristan because we enjoyed that more. So we got garlic, artichoke and a few other things in addition to the above ingredients. Again, very tasty and filling. Didn't eat until about 6 pm after having these at 11 am.
Super friendly! Open late! And all this for $8.27 and as many toppings as they have as you like on your pizza!! The thin crush is super delicious!
Mod Pizza, located near gate C13 at Portland airport is a great place to stop by for a make your one pizza. The 11' pizza costs around $9, and can be customized with any number of toppings and sauces. The pizza is delicious and is ready within minutes, although the wait is pretty long, so I'd be mindful if ordering in a rush. 10/10 would come here again for the mouth melting pizza!
I had a brief layover at PDX and needed a quick bite since I hadn't ordered food for my flight. The customer service was great, and the staff was really helpful. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I ordered the 'Dillon James' pizza, and it was delicious! (I didn’t get a picture of it, unfortunately.) Other travelers waiting to board and those already on the plane were singing the praises of MOD Pizza and how tasty it was. How could I not give it a try? I will definitely return during my next layover!
