Old Port Noodle House - Portland

Delicious! This was one of our best meals in Portland. Typically, at places like this, you get frozen vegetables, but Veranda Noodle House uses fresh ones, making the food absolutely delightful. I had the veggie basil stir-fry, and my husband enjoyed the chicken fried rice. This meal ranks among the top two of our favorites over the past five days. It's a must-visit in Portland!

This is the best Vermicelli noodle bowl I have ever tasted. The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection, fish oil delicious and noodles just right.

Good, casual spot. The pho is delicious. It’s not marked on the menu, but the server informed me they have gluten free options including the pho, curries, and some noodle fried rice dishes.

Great choices for Thai food and some Vietnamese dishes too! super fast and friendly service! Definitely will be back.

My husband and I stopped by, but they were closing at the time. However, the gentleman there kindly reopened the kitchen and made us a delicious plate of drunken noodles with pork. He could have easily asked us to come back the next day, but instead, he went out of his way to serve us. The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I will definitely return when they are open.
