Thong Thai Restaurant - Portland

When you ask for hot, they deliver, if somewhat cautiously. Sometimes you have to build up a relationship with a place for them to unleash the beast when you ask. I would say this place takes two times. The first time they brought it about 7/10. So I’m hoping to DIE from heat the next time. Their little chilies in fish sauce were actually hot! Surprise. Tbh the PNW tends to have their hear toned and finding actual Thai hot is a search. The quest continues! Def would come here again tho.

I love Thai food but thus was the best I've had in a very long time. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Even my 5 year old son enjoyed it. We had a group of 5, we all ordered different things with lots of appetizers and everything was fantastic!

First time visit and we can highly recommend. We were greeted and sat down right away. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. We had curry, noodles and soup. Everything tasted amazing. Very reasonable prices. We loved it and will be back.

Had some drunken noodles from there. Got 3/5 on their spice scale. Still spicy as hell. Best to stay around 1 unless you have a true love for spicy stuff. Delicious though. Best Thai place in the area in my opinion

This is my go to thai place. I've never had a bad dish here. Today I had the crispy squid with chili jelly and it was delicious! We've done their take out too and it's always spot on.
