Bidra med feedbackBest food I had during my week long trip to Portland and Seattle not expected! First Burmese experience, according to my friend this is more of a fusion not exactly wholly authentic... but very tasty nonetheless!! Tofu tots are ok kind of basic. Tofu noodle salad was probably my favorite, reminded me of my spaghetti with tomato sauce, which isn't a bad thing for a pasta lover like me. Coconut curry with chicken was a dream, never had a curry with so much coconut flavor, sogood!!! Burmese lemonade was yummy. Food was pretty quick, simple no frills place with bomb food.
I wish I could give them 3.5 stars. The food was good. The service not the best. I would recommend to not order the Samosa as they were very oily. The Tea leaf salad was refreshing and delicious as well as the Falooda. They have a robot who serves food. If they improve their service they will receive a better rating. Update: On owner's request elaborating on the service part. We visited on 01/29/22 evening. After we finished our meals the tables weren't cleared when weordered deserts. We had to pile them all together and make space for ourselves. By this time it had slowed down and there weren't many customers too.
The food is absolutely scrumptious! Would highly recommend trying this place out. We chose outdoor seating since the weather was very nice. The samosas were tasty, paratha dip was innovative and the main dishes were really tasty and wonderfully presented. There was a 30 minute wait time on a Saturday evening when we went. Also, the parking could get tricky since the street parking was very full on the day we went which coincided with game night. 10/10 would recommend.
Cosy place for interesting vegan Burmese food including appetizers (the Samosas! , mains (curries and noodles, and dessert. Power in-house Chickpea tofu. Regular place for me and food is always delicious.
My wife, whom I ordered last night about DoorDash, as we wanted to try a new vegan/vegan-friendly restaurant, noticed the current offer of 20% from $25 or more (up to $11 in savings). We ordered three items that were all standard vegan gluten-free: the Sweet Pumpkin Curry, the Aubergines Curry, the Tofu Curry w/ Coconut Rice. Overall, we enjoyed the flavors of each dish (although the Tofu Curry was definitely more saltier than we prefer), but the portions that were given the price (also with the online discount) were on the smaller side than what we are used by similar Asian vegan/vegan-friendly restaurants. We keep Top Burmese in the future as a delivery option, as the flavors were unique, we appreciate them offering numerous vegan options, but for the price as the portions there are a number of other local restaurants we just enjoy more.
