This was excellent quality BBQ chicken, chips and gravy if you are after a quick and easy take away meal. Good range of BBQ chicken meals available.Staff are efficient but are not particularly friendly. Shop decide is outdated and looks like it could do with some attention but it is clean and the food was very good for takeaway type food.

Small local business in operation for over 20 yrs locally, competing against kfc over the road, sadly as per other critics, the place needs an overhaul of its image and cleanliness standards, however in fairness, have never had bad tucker from here;Staff sometimes need a attitude adjustment, its very poor by some, us the customers owe them a living, and we need to be nice to them;haha!Staff need to wear clean uniforms and be personally tidier. Compared with the multi national across the road, for image its a 10, and Canadian rooster is a 2.5. The shop is very dated, and drinks fridge is grubby on the shelves, and needs restocking maybe every couple of hours in the summer time. This business could have been a like a chicken company fast food in the riverina region "OLLIES TROLLEYS CHICKEN AND ICECREAMERY" , they grew very fast and were taken over by kfc in the 1980's. This local business has the potential to steal business from kfc, but in current format, it wont!

Creasy food, what you would call slop. The whole place looks dirty and not very attractive. Food is cheap, if that's what you want.

Arrived in Portland on Saturday night at about 8pm. Sign on door said open till 11. Told us they were about to close, but could take our order. Not everything was available, so we settled on simple half chicken and chips option for 4. Chips were really soggy and chicken underdone. Just terrible.

The worst fast food place in Portland, I should have taken one look at the shabbiness and uncleanliness of the place and went somewhere else, but I didn't, how a place that really only cooks two things, Chicken and Chips, could fail so miserably I have no idea, the chicken was dry, the chips were half frozen and their idea of gravy seemed to be boiling a bucket of water in a pot that once held real gravy. Avoid!
