Emperor's House - Portlaoise

Really really nice Chinese. I would not go anywhere else. I absolutely love their food. They have a huge menu. I usually get the same thing. They also do fortune cookies which are so cute. The staff are lovely. I usually get a takeaway. Service is very good.

The food at Emperor's House has always been great. You would need to catch them on a really bad day to have anything that wasn't delicious. Recently went with a group of 8 and they comfortably accommodated us. We received a lot of active attention from the servers and we were well taken care of. Only giving 4 stars for atmosphere because the light above our table wasn't working. Other than that everything was perfect.

Always friendly service, usually top notch food. Every once in a while they give out some dry shredded chicken but it tends to be the exception to the rule.

I always choose this restaurant for Chinese food because the dishes are consistently high quality and the service is excellent.
