Restaurante muito agradável, funcionários muito atenciosos. No entanto as doses dos pratos são muito pequenas para o preço. A carne que pedimos vinha com muita gordura e o bacalhau era muito banal . Além disso, cobram o valor da gorjeta diretamente no valor final da fatura, quem não estiver atento acaba se calhar a pagar mais do que quer
Comida de qualidade e bem apresentada, embora alguns pratos principais possam ser aprimorados em termos de elementos de acompanhamento/finalização. Atendimento simpático e profissional. Como sugestão de melhoria realçamos a importância de distinguir claramente o valor do consumo da sugestão de gratificação.
The food was amazing, we had the octopus, probably the best I've ever eaten, and for desserts a mushroom founder who was surprisingly good. Would recommend everyone!
The chef sent out an amouse bouche called chef 's garden consisting of a tangy sauce accompanying tiny celery sticks, white asparagus shoots and baby carrots which only appeared to rise through the sauce when our server poured some water from a tea pot into the bottom of the vessel containing the concoction. Were were presented with an aperitif of a white port, which was quite delightful. My starter was a meat pie made up of locally grown veal, lamb and suckling pig, in a tasty sauce. My main course was veal atop a mound of linguini. Linda ordered her main course from the half board menu medium rare veal tenderloin accompanied by potato and vegetables including some locally harvested seaweed. Linda 's dessert was two scoops of strawberry ice cream, and mine was an apple cobbler baked in its own small cast iron lidded pot, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a rectangular slate colored plate. All was accompanied by a glass of Grahams 20 year old port. The service was cheerful, polite and unobtrusive by a well trained and prepared staff. The room is a marvelous example of the architectural details of the beautifully restored baroque Palacio do Freixo.
