Bidra med feedbackTerrible service. It took 45 minutes to fulfill a small order and in the end the wrong dish was brought. Food was OK, but too expensive for quality The distance between the tables does not follow the COVID safety guidelines
We went to this restaurant out of convenience on the first night (we were staying at the nearby Refugio da Praia, which was fantastic accommodation), and by choice on the second night! Although it doesn 't look like the most inviting of places from the outside,...do not be put off staff were welcoming and friendly, and the menu extensive. Although at first we were shocked to see some of the high prices, we now reckon the more expensive dishes must have been pretty special. Being on a budget, we picked some of the cheaper items, but they certainly did not disappoint. The food was fresh, very tasty, and plentiful. The wine was equally enjoyable and very good value for money. Between us we had the baked cod dish, the cod fishcakes, fried fish with tomato sauce and BBQ chicken. It was all absolutely great, and I would really recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the local area and not just because it 's convenient and provides beautiful views of the Atlantic!
Excelente Portuguese restaurant. excelente seafood and fish-friendly participants. they shouldn't miss it. I am Portuguese and always come here to have nasty.
This restaurant is located on the rota vicentina to northen to porto covo. I arrived at 22:30. the lady recommended the feijao com chocos. it came with rice. it was so good that the chocos were soft and tender. I have not decided in the rule... but dessert to give me a tasty bite after all the hard hikes. I ordered the mousse with coffee taste. it was very creamy and rich and tasty. I wanted to order another one, but I thought this is enough calories for the day. The intention of the ilha and the pulsating sea are amazing of this situation. there is also an old fortification near it.
I was not looking for some fancy shmancy place so far away in the country. I just wanted a taste if Alentejo. And this is what I have found. Ate there for 5 days in a row during my stay, each time tasting something different. And...what I can surely recommend is cataplana. Any version pork, fish or chicken. Whichever you like. Ask for a fresh cheese, caprese style. Or stew no 6. This is not a Michelin star kind of place. You’ll have a real taste of Alentejo region, as rough as the cliffs around. Don’t be a wuss if you’ll find a piece of clam shell.
