Linda Beach - Porto-Vecchio

Perfect place for a quick dinner at the end of a wonderful beach day. Great octopus salad, awesome location and nice music!

Nice romantic location, especially at night. An advice for the owner could be to fade a bit the lights, as they are really too strong, and they spoil the atmosphere. Food not so special, as I could expect, considering prices and nice place(close to the sea). Nice behavior of the blond tall waiter, not of the brown one. Not possible not to have any local beers in an August dinner. Be careful to the bill. I was charged of something I asked, but finally not available. Made them notice. It was ok.

We booked today 6 deckchairs and we were planning to have a wonderful lunch with family and friends. Unfortunately it seems that this place is used to practice an overbooking policy for the sun deck, which is actually pretty funny and show the management inconsistency in the high-peak season... soon after our arrival we have been told by the management that we should make room for other guests on the only basis that they also booked but were elder people and that we should act like gentle peopl by giving the place we were already lend on ... so we remind the “deck manager” that we were family with baby (two under twenty months) and that we need the room and the umbrella we order for in anyway. We remind them that we were not here to argue, we were confident enough that the staff will come up with a solution during our lunch time to the restaurant. Then we sat, start ordering ...and soon after, before to even get the opportunity to get our plates and drinks, someone came and proclaimed that we will have to share the deck chair with other peoples and that we will have in the end 4 chairs to fit 9 peoples including two baby... as we were surprised we immediately disagreed, asked for compassion but the only “class gesture “ we received was to being told by one of the manager to “not pay the two bottles of water already on the table and to leave the restaurant.” When we could stand this position knowing the lot of people passing by and asking for a table or a room on the desk, we could absolutely not stand for the way he loudly shouted this at us (making young children cry) acting like a drama queen and trying to make us feel (and also the whole guest audience) guilty of bad behavior, also the fact that he left us at 1:30 Pm without a solution to give a decent lunch to the kids was totally unacceptable, this stupid « self proclaimed manager » could have handle this in many different ways; he chose the rude one without caring of children in a really hot afternoon. Man you have no guts. Man, overbooking is totally on your own responsibility... creating deception on your customers is your burden and you have to deal with it! Without to make your customers responsible for you own lack of basics management skills... we know that this comment and many others on this page are not going to prevent many people to stop by your place... but we just want to tell you, we won’t forget you and will do our best effort in word of mouth to make sure decent people will avoid your place.

Horribal and unacceptable behavior. The personal was very aggressive, Physically aggressive. Non human behavior, needs to be punished and will be punished. I invite clients with similar experience to step up!

I will start with the prices. Before spending the day at Linda beach you need to consider: 5 euros to park the car, 60 euros for a dirty and scratched sun bed (if you are in the back line, double sun bed, which can hardly be moved and cannot che changed), and not less than 50 euros for the lunch which you are very strongly invited (if not forced) to have at their restaurant. By way of information, the seafront tables are just a few our table was almost inside the kitchen. The best has yet to come, let’s continue with the staff. As a reward for spending the above amounts, before you go to Linda Beach you need to get used to statements from the staff such as “if you need some shadow (as there was no space to move the double sun bed) you just don’t go to the beach...” or “before you leave, put the sun beds back to their original places”. The food we had was good at least, but if you plan to spend time at the beach my advice is to avoid this place.
