Nice place to sit in the middle of Portofino on the water. The prices were too high for what you got

I'm Korean. I fainted after eating grilled shrimp. It was so delicious. The lady is so kind

The food was decent. The atmosphere was ok. We were a little annoyed at how the head server was constantly correcting his assistant in front of us. He continuously barked orders at this guy. It really ruined the mood. We just wanted to enjoy a nice aperitivo by the port. This guy also kept soliciting tips from Americans. He was so kind in explaining to all of us dumb Americans how the tip isn’t included and that we can just pay the tip in cash. The food was already expensive. Coperto was 4 euro per person and we paid 8.50 euros for a bottle of water. Not worth it at all. This experience along with a few others have convinced me that we will never come back to Portofino. Service like this is a disservice to your beautiful commune.

L'orientamento del locale è particolarmente interessante; affacciato a ovest, gode del sole pomeridiano e permette di mangiare all'aperto anche nei pranzi invernali. La posizione è eccellente, situata nel porticciolo di Portofino, sul mare: non si potrebbe chiedere di meglio. Il locale dispone di un piccolo spazio interno e di tavolini esterni, molto carini, quelli dove ci siamo seduti, praticamente a pelo d'acqua. L'unico bagno è piccolo ma pulito e rinnovato di recente, e si trova vicino alla cucina. Quando sono arrivato, c'era un po' di caos perché un aiuto cuoco aveva fatto cadere qualcosa, ma devo dire che, tutto sommato, la situazione è stata gestita abbastanza bene. Il personale non è il massimo... Sempre disponibili, nulla da dire, ma piuttosto sbrigativi e un po' bruschi. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato avevano porzioni piuttosto scarse, ma erano comunque buoni, anzi direi molto buoni, con una presentazione curata. Il conto, considerando la posizione, non è stato affatto elevato.

That eating was really good, that is amazing. the waiter was really nice and helpful. the drinks were too expensive 8€ for a regular koks. the prices of the food were ok for the sake of hope.
