Martino's Pizzeria - Portsmouth

Honestly hate to give bad reviews, but this was just horrible. Maybe it was just a bad night. Ordered a house special pizza and onion rings. Onion rings were actually spongey...worst I have ever had, and the pizza was just terrible. Wet in the center and when you picked it up all the toppings slid off. Finally, the counter person, the older, skinnier of the men working, seemed bothered and angry. Clearly not a customer friendly encounter. Its a lot of money to spend for foodthat went in the trash. Look...its just pizza...I'll survive, but I hope this business uses this review to improve their processes and customer service.

Martino's is our favorite pizza on the Island. We've tried nearly every place nearby and it's been a challenge to find a pizza place that makes tasty NY style bubbly, chewy, and crispy crust with a slightly sweet sauce. We had a small NY style pizza with pepperoni, roasted garlic, and feta, and loved it. The crust was delicious, easily the best we've had since moving to this part of Rhode Island. We also got a large Caesar Salad and it was also perfect--just the rightamount of garlic. We've been searching for a place that was this good and Martino's is the first to deliver. We will definitely be back! Well, we've been back, several times, and Martino's continues to deliver delicious pizza and calzones.I've added extra pictures.

Nice Italian pizzeria where the pizza is done the right way. They also serve fresh juicy wings, I will definitely be back.

Fantastic pizza , subs and appetizers. Never really had anything bad here , but recently my last few Pizzas although cooked perfectly, have tasted a little.. sour , wasn't entirely bummed but it did take away from alot of the flavors. Crust was

Best Pizza on Aquidneck Island. Thin crisp crust, lots of cheese, tasty sauce. New York Style Neapolitan Pizza. I am very happy I discovered this place. This Pizza will stand up against the best anywhere.Great meatballs and Spaghetti too. I add an extra meatball and get two meals from it for around 20 bucks. Delicious and you can’t beat the price. This is my go to take out place. Lots of good standard Italian dishes that satisfy.Parking: A large lot. You can always park close.
