Bidra med feedbackI recently dined at a restaurant that offered a vegetarian burger, but I was disappointed to learn that the patty contained eggs. I also ordered quinoa, only to discover that the sauce contained honey as I was eating. Despite these mishaps, the staff kindly did not charge me for my meal and apologized. The restaurant itself was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. I suggest checking with the restaurant if you have dietary restrictions, as they may be able to provide a substitute for the quinoa sauce, which was served in a separate cup.
Seafood lovers will enjoy eating at this restaurant, but vegetarians and vegans may not understand why. Personally, I am not a fan of seafood restaurants where the vegetarian options are often expensive, lacking creativity, and have a hint of fishiness. I tried the kale salad, but some of it was discolored. I was dining with a group and did not choose the restaurant, but I would not recommend it to fellow vegetarians. There are a few salads that can be modified to be vegan-friendly, but with Green Elephant nearby, I would suggest going elsewhere if possible. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was not very enjoyable.
Got the Thai Noodle salad (which comes in appetizer and entrée size) which was delicious. The waitress said other salads could also be veganized. There's a veggie burger also, which I didn't ask about, but the restaurant summary above says something about butter being used. Though there aren't many vegan choices it's a decent choice for a mixed group where some people are looking for seafood. Really lovely river views and helpful staff.
Food was subpar... 4 small steak tips added on to my salad was $10...$2.50 a piece(crooks).... these steak tips were so small I didn’t need to cut them... ridiculous! Crab cakes are horrible.... it was a frozen pad that was deep fried and service... not fresh very frozen...ugh
Soup was cold. Waitress never remembered water that was asked for a few times. Dull atmosphere in dining area.
