Kentuck Fried Chicken - Portsmouth

The food was consistently incorrect and served cold. The staff running the restaurant were incompetent. The management should be ashamed of their operations.

I visited this restaurant yesterday and waited in line to order food. I found myself at the front of the growing line for 20 minutes while a worker complained to her colleagues about how busy it was. Instead of working, she stood and chatted with a customer. I was eventually served by a guy who had just finished cleaning the floor and tables and came over to take orders as the line continued to grow. It seems like this guy is the key to their customer service, as I have been here many times and he is always doing everything. The food is not up to par with other KFC locations - the wings are inedible and the boneless chicken is dry and almost stale. There are also some minor annoyances, like gravy being put in the bag without the lid being secured, resulting in a bag full of gravy when you get home. Additionally, cups do not have lids, so you have to use a coffee lid or risk spilling your drink. Although it is not the restaurant's fault, you often have to navigate through a group of 8-year-olds smoking weed or being searched by the police when you visit. Overall, this KFC is terrible and ranks as one of the worst I have been to. The best KFC I have consistently visited is the one in Gosport by Halfords. It baffles me that these two locations can share the same name.

My sister and I go shopping once a fortnight and love going into this particular KFC for our lunch. We are always served by the same lovely lady who is extremely pleasant and goes out of her way to be helpful. Thanks KFC we really enjoy coming in for a light lunch. Food always fresh quick and served with a smile.

After a long time wanted to try out KFC again. Worst decidion ever. Cooking at home seems to be quicker than the time I spent waiting for my order. While I was waiting I could hear my feet sticking to the floor, pretty disgusting, the same all around tables. Food I was soo hungry after shopping, unfortunately I didn't eat all, burger tasted weird had to leave before it got worse. Went across the street to McDonalds to get a proper burger. Worst spent time and money in a long time. The thing I know for sure, they'll never see me again

The food it self wasn't the worst, it could have been better however it was edible. The worst part of the experience was the wait time! Over 20 mins for one order and then another 10 mins on top of that for my friends order that was taken directly after mine!! Seems the staff prioritise UberEats Deliveroo orders!!
