Golden Lion Chinese - Poulsbo

Fresh vegetables no surprise. My wife and I went here after I went to the peasant market nearby and had the Kung Pao Chicken, and I was glad to find that they actually made it with fresh celery along with the usual fenced water chestnuts and peanuts. Soup was tasteful without being too salty, but I didn't like the peas (I just don't like a pea period). Egg roll was large and handmade (not the usual frozen style). Large and tasty portions paid for the price. I would eat here again (can next time get more fresh fruits and vegetables from the peasant market).

The Golden Lion is the best Chinese restaurant in Poulsbo. The food is consistently delicious, and the family meal is incredibly generous—enough to feed four people, with leftovers to spare. Plus, you always get complimentary tea!

We absolutely love this restaurant! The beef peapods are outstanding, and the egg rolls are fantastic as well.

This was my first time trying her food, and I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were modified to accommodate my allergies, and they were both delicious and satisfying. I really enjoyed the flavors and definitely plan to eat here again.
