Taps Tavern - Poultney

We had delicious .50 wings, burgers, Mac n cheese with bacon and chicken a slumber chicken sandwich. Red velvet cheesecake was dying. Live music was great and the service was exceptional! Loved that they used beautiful local potter plates and cups. Great place!

Feel great food with a small town. They occasionally offer live music by local artists who are a fun way to sprinkle the night. Your house drinks and mocktails are excellent and decently expensive. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful.

What a great find. Great food, train mi sandwich, chicken sandwich and hand cut pommes. IMO each restaurant should serve hand cut pommes. Then to complete it, Bluegrasss Marmelade session was soooo fun. Musicians jump straight into the jam, at a time there were 11 musicians playing/singing together. Reminds us from Ireland with trad music only it was Bluegrass. Very recommended.

Tap filled it! I asked for sweet potatoes with my two orders of offers and got the worst regular pommes I've ever eaten. I'll never go back! That's the second time they filled me on the frits. Never again!

Da bomb! Great music. Enjoyable grub. Rock Star drinks! We had a grand time at Taps. The beet and blueberry martini or lemon drop was perfectly made. And I drank every drop. The chicken sandwich and fish and chips filled us up and was yums. Great fries. Great dressing on salad (lemony). Great salad. A true pleasure. Our wait staff were fantastic. One was in training and the trainer was excellent as far as we could tell. A winner winner chicken dinner.
