Waffle House - Powder Springs

After attending my niece's graduation ceremony, we decided to visit this restaurant. It was already late, around 11:15, and we were surprised to find out that we had to wait a while before we could place our order. There were only two people working in the kitchen at that time - one cooking and one taking orders. We finally received our To-Go order after midnight, which was a bit inconvenient, but the food turned out to be decent.

I went to Waffle House with the intention of ordering some grits. As soon as I walked in, the waitress informed me that they were only serving grits due to short staffing. I found this to be quite inconvenient, but still decided to order. However, I was told that I had to eat at least 75 percent of my meal before leaving. I have never experienced such poor service at a Waffle House before. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I would give this location a negative review if I could. Very disappointing experience.

I would not recommend this particular waffle house location! Every dish we ordered was overcooked. The hash browns were burnt to a crisp, the bread was charred, and even the steak didn't taste like steak, it was just burnt. It was a terrible experience overall. We were the only customers there so it's not like they were in a rush, yet we still had to wait an extra long time for our food. That's unacceptable!

Apparently, there are only two chefs that only mean one. so the chefs can put the food on a glass plate but not in a togo box.

I would leave zero stars if I could. The staff is very rude and bashful. My family and I walked in ready to eat breakfast and one of the employees yelled “This section is closed.” in such a rude way. Mind you we never went to sit down we stood up waiting to be greeted and sat at a table. After standing there about 10 minutes no one said anything to us. They just looked and stared at us. Another 5 minutes passed and we decided to leave because of how we were treated. I literally live around the corner in Hopeland Park and thought it was a great idea to stop here and grab a bite, but never again.
