On a hot day we had the pleasure of getting a reservation in bourdasso for lunch. it was a family trip and we all thought it was excellent. the actual eating is fabulous, but so is the actual room, service, family feeling, drinks and general ambiente. especially of course, eat dishes with own mozzarella including melon ice cream. absolutely sensational and only wish that we can go back and forth. we also drove along the road and saw that the buffalo was melted on this Sunday afternoon
We loved our whole meal experience in bourdasso. they are a charming family and eating was great. when I correctly took up the family dynamics, the father greeted us and took our job, but when we asked about wein it was the son who spoke to us. he makes the wee and the cheese! he has a great personality to go with his culinary talents. the vater is also the designer and has an amazing work with the interior and exterior decorations that we loved all metal sculptures and lighting around the premises. our only mistake was to order too much food! the portions were very generous, and we simply couldn't eat everything we ordered, but it was all delicious. if they are in the opposite, I recommend to them to book a table in this beautiful restaurant.
Superb! beautiful location in the corbieres and in a wonderfully restored wine domaine building. excellent service and really nice eating. her own label red wine was also excellent. my only complaining was that I ate too much from the extensive menu!
Unfortunately the weather was not good, does often happen early July! It was cold but once we stepped into the nicely decorated restaurant all feelings of cold disappeared. The welcome was exceptional. There is a limited choice on the menu, which may be ofputting to some but the food is exceptional, the presentation artistic and the taste superb. I did cause quite a disturbed reaction of the owner when I asked for an aperitif of limoncello and prosseco, I hope he tried it because it is delicious, I had been introduced to this in a recent tour of the Italian lakes and the Dolomites. The bill, not cheap but well worth the experience.
