Oxbow Dinner House And Pizza Company

We ordered coconut shrimp and Pepperoni pizza and both was delicious. Their were only two people working the floor and they rocked it especially how busy they were. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone passing through the John Day area. Food options are limited in this area and was highly shocked how good their food was. Will come back again when I am in the area!!

Fantastic home made food. I had the ribs even though I'd intended to have pizza. Wasn't disappointed. Very meaty and cooked to perfection. Side of home made beans and real mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, great beers on tap. Wonderful interior, a real old west saloon. Great service

So much food! Great prices for the amount you get. Sesame ginger soy popcorn chicken was really good...maybe just a little less soy or maybe I was just really sensitive to the salt that day, still really good and the basket of fries was huge! My husband really enjoyed the tri-tip philly sandwich and we got a bbq chicken pizza to go that was really good. Friendly staff.

Normal evening just walked in to sit down. Waited for our waiter but just stood there staring at us. Never once came over to check on us.We wait 15 minutes then walked out. We called in our complaint said he would comp out meal and said he thought we had a go to order. Well if you just walk over and talk to us you would have know for what we want. This is the frist screw up. Second one was my husband. Being locals we thought we would give him other try. My husband walked sat with some friends he knew waiting for the waiter. He never came and said he was freaking busy needless to say we didn't get dinner from them that night and haven't been back since. Owner need to work on this attitude if he wants to stay in busy.
