This review is an excerpt from my original Google+ post from December 2018. Here 's a place that puzzles me a little. The food is fantastic repeat after me ... TRUFFLE FRIES. PORK STREET TACOS. BRUSSELS SPROUTS , the interior is nice and low-key, they have a great happy hour special drinks are priced extremely well and all but one appetizer is half price until 6 pm nightly , but every time I go, it 's nearly empty. C. Frogs ' acoustics esp if you get a booth in the bar , along with everything else, make it a good place to go if you 're meeting someone to catch-up and talk. They also have about 3 TVs if you 're trying to catch a football game. For the summer, they have a small patio on the walkway that faces Story 's patio and Better Cheddar. Your kids if you have any , can run around and play and you can keep an eye on them , while you visit. I don 't know if it 's because of the location inside/next door to Standees movie theatre , the appearance of lack of parking parking around it usually looks full, but you can ALWAYS find a spot , or the name C. Frogs doesn 't really tell you what 's on the menu or what the place is about ... , but it 's a great place to go. So, if you 're on the hunt for a place with good food, a good happy hour, good service, good atmosphere, where you can hear, and can also get a table immediately, go to here. I believe C. Frog has a lot to offer. It's perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends, even for larger group events! The staff is attentive without being overly intrusive, which I really appreciate. The food is delicious and reasonably priced!
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The music was enjoyable, and the decor was intriguing—especially the frog theme! I particularly appreciated the amusing illustrations on the children's menu. The food was decent, making it a nice spot to dine. The theater experience was also quite good; both aspects of the evening complemented each other well. In conclusion, the frog decor was charming, the food was satisfying, and the theater was lovely. If you enjoyed this review, please like and subscribe for more!
Anyone who knows Donnie Howard and me knows that when we go out for dinner, we prefer to explore local spots rather than chain restaurants. C Frogs in Prairie Village is one of those hidden gems. The food was delicious, and it has a nice military spirit. Molly and her husband own the place, and she personally stopped by to chat with us. The ambiance was fantastic, and the service was excellent!
