Dragon Garden Restaurant - Prescott

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but it is the homemade plum sauce that truly elevates the meal.

My family and I recently moved to a nearby town and decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered a dinner for two along with some extra egg rolls and crispy wontons. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The beef chow mein was particularly outstanding, and the plum sauce was the best I've ever had. The flavors had a nice ginger kick to them and we can't wait to come back and try more dishes from this fantastic restaurant!

The Imperial pork was excellent. I wasn't super pumped about the house special fried rice or won ton soup. I'm excited to try other dishes.They also sell some nice plants and such.Be advised, it's take out only.

First visit, food was average Canadian Chinese. I got a combo plate and was very surprised to see the aluminum container size. Maybe it's been a long time since I got Chinese take away but, the containers are now the size of a breakfast plate instead of a dinner plate. I am not a big eater, I expected to have enough for 2 meals, I had no trouble eating the entire thing. I can only imagine in a few years when I order Chinese take away again the shrinkfaltion with have downsized the portion to finger bowl size!

Take out was all that was offered. It is unfortunate they choose to use styrofoam containers. It is 2022 and most places have converted to more eco friendly containers. It is why I won’t eat there again unless they offer eat in or change their take out containers. The food was what I would call North American Chinese food. It was fresh and hot but the sauces were very sweet. Food portions were good. They will have to open for eat in or choose more environmentally friendly take out containers before I try them again.
