Bidra med feedbackA funny little town brewery in preston, minnesota. the city brewing is a family-run braupub with something good eating and beer. Many people who came in there were on the local because of travel. the community is secret and the space from inside in the taproom to the outside on the terrace embodies that vibe. I have a flight on their forellenflugbrett and sat outside. red sky honey cranberry: a honey ale with cranberry and honey malt brewed. medium low sweet with a low tare that comes from the bitter cranberry. the honey offers a pleasant balance to it that ensures that cranberry does not have the ale. local yokel session ipa: a session ipa inspired by the IPA style of the west coast. the use of local civil sass grown up in south-east Minnesota directly on the roat in chatfield hopfen offers a pleasant bitterness with a low grapefruit taste. egromaniac rye ipa: a rye ipa that does not intimidate from the bold spicy notes of the roggenmalze. the ipa is packed with taste with a full body, high hopbitteriness and high roggen fastness. blueberry seasonal: a very pleasant blueberry season that is not online, but when the beering told me about it I jumped directly on it. it was almost like a paganberry breakfast brotmalty, paganberry fruity and right drinkable at the bottom. my favorite of the four.
This was a great brewery and well with the stop and visit. The owner brewtender was very knowledgeable about his beers, the are and other breweries and was able to give good advice based on what we wanted and all around SUPER friendly.Their store front makes the place look a lot smaller than it really is with lots of space to spread out and a sweet little back side patio. The beer was good and the location while out of the way was pretty awesome. They had a variety of beers, we're able to can crowler growler anything on demand and they had a good selection of merch of that's you're thing. While they did offer food, we did not partake as we were hopping from brewery to brewery. Definitely go here!
Trout City Brewing was a great place to stop for a few beers and really good food. The customer service and friendly small town feel will bring us back again and again. Recommend to all looking for a spot to grab a bite or a brew while enjoying the outdoors.
Excellent stop in Preston! Just a few blocks off the Root River Trail! Our service was exemplary, as were the taps, wine, alcoholic slushy we all had to try. This is a really fun, quirky older building a bank that has been renovated lots of little spots to enjoy your beverage. pssst...don't forget to use the bathroom by the bar it's the old bank vault!
Food, service and atmosphere were fantastic! the smoked fish and the brisket sandwich were the best I ever had. 4 different beers tried and loved them all. would it like to come back when we ever make it back into town.
