Bidra med feedbackThe café is lovely, featuring a wood burner that created a cozy atmosphere on a bright but chilly day. The view towards the Forth in the direction of Fife was stunning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although we were tempted by the delicious cakes and baked goods, we didn't indulge this time. However, we will definitely be back!
We parked at the back and found our way through a bit of a maze of small businesses, which might be a little daunting for newcomers or those less familiar with the area. However, there is a lift, and if you look carefully, you'll spot signs directing you to the café. I'd suggest improving the signage for accessing the café from the back, as it would make it easier for first-time visitors. The front entrance is definitely more straightforward. The café also features a beautiful garden, and it's just a few meters from the coast and the John Muir Way. While you're there, you can learn about the history of the house and the famous Battle of Prestonpans. Overall, this café is a gem worth visiting!
I had breakfast at her café, and it was a delightful experience. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious—especially the scones! I will definitely be returning soon.
Eh32 live. beautiful day with live music and pleasant environment. Maybe if the concession is standing, you could see more local drinks serving instead of carling and newcastle brown ale.
This has got better and better. Interesting display of local history. Good craft shop. Lovely building. Very good cafe.
