Del Forno Hatfield - Pretoria

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered a pizza with no meat for a vegetarian, but it arrived with unexpected toppings and included meat. Additionally, they didn’t have any Coke, Coke Zero, cream soda, or Fanta in stock. We were offered Pepsi Max or Pepsi Light, and we specifically asked for the Light version, but instead received Max. The failure to follow instructions, along with the issues with our order, has left me frustrated and unlikely to return.

I won't be returning to Del Fornos Hillcrest again. The waiter was incredibly rude, making the experience quite uncomfortable. Fortunately, I have the option to choose not to go back. It's not worth your time or money when there are so many other fantastic small businesses, restaurants, and friendly waitstaff that deserve the business. I should have realized something was off, as they typically only have one or two tables occupied. While they might be busy with pizza takeout, there are certainly better choices out there. Del Fornos Hillcrest is the last place you should consider visiting. The food is below average, and the service is simply not worth your time.

I usually have great experiences at Del Forno, enjoying both the food and service. However, I was really disappointed during my recent visit on November 4, 2022. I ordered a pizza that had almost spoiled avocado on it. I spoke to the manager, who agreed to credit my account with the cost of the avocado for my next order. While I appreciate the gesture, I’m still left with the unpleasant taste of spoiled avocado on my pizza and no fresh avocado to enjoy. I feel like a more comprehensive solution could have been offered. I've attached pictures of the avocado for reference.

On 23.09.2022 company bought us take away pizza as a treat, toppings sliding off and barely any cheese on pizza, all 3 pizza's same, where's our cheese please? Dine in recently was good however.

Placed a Mr delivery order for Del Forno pizza wanting to try something new. The pizza was ice cold upon delivery. The delivery guy himself only drove 5 mins. The pizza base is still half raw, literally raw and the cheese barely melted see photos. Also missing toppings. Tasted a piece of each and the Pizza is VERY bland. We chose this place because they advertised wood fired pizzas; very VERY expensive wood fired pizzas, didn't mind the price as its my partners 30th birthday, but what was delivered to my house this place should be ASHAMED of. Truly, very very abhorrent pizza.
