If you are looking for original Preveza cooking don't look at the menu, talk to Costas and let him bring you whatever his mother has cooked for the day. Once you have finished call the waiter from the opposite ice cream shop and ask for Ravani with vanilla . Your culinary voyage has reached its destination.
One of the best Greek tavern. All the staff are Ventura family friendly dedicated and welcoming. The food is great sardines big shrimps kalamary and off course the fish. Prices are very cheap including alcohol.
So glad we chose to dine here. Service and food was excellent. Fish was fresh and everything was delicious. The restaurant is family run and some special dishes are prepared by the owner's mother. Highly recommend the grilled squid, vinegar octopus and the pasta with shrimps. One of the few restaurants who brought over some appetizers and desserts on the house. We'll be back one day!
Reading the reviews I was expecting something much nicer. Very good shrimps but everything else was below average, especially the fish that smelled like dirt (like a green potato). We asked about it and the reply was that it was normal and we don't know this particular fish, we were frowned upon for our comment. We have eaten this dish numerous times and we asked a specialist yesterday who said this fish should have never been served to customers when it smells like this. So thanks for that. Not to recommend in any case and be careful what they serve you
