Bidra med feedbackThe breads at this restaurant are amazing, made with German sourdough that has a great texture and depth of flavor. The English muffins, especially the seeded ones, were exceptional. Their signature lillipies were a huge hit with the crowd, and the pear flavor was a favorite among us. Everything is baked fresh using locally produced ingredients, so be sure to arrive early before they sell out!
Absolute gem. Kouign Ammans are a must, they beat out Dominique Ansel in NYC (who helped popularize them in the US , in my opinion. I got a range of pastries to try and not one disappointed; they range from above average to superb. Lovely to find such a top-tier bakery in a somewhat random location. Service was very friendly and helpful. They deserve much more hype. (Oddly I don 't find the actual 'pies ' they sell at Small World etc to be that great, but everything at the actual bakery is; love to see more coffee shops in Princeton carry some of these pastries, as I think Sakrid already does.
Everything is well made with wholesome ingredients. Coffee is very good. The tiny pies are too sweet for my taste. I miss the indoor seating. Could you just have the bar stools open or one table?
I'm writing this again because I felt forced to take down my last one. There is subtle racism going on there and they can deny it if they want but I will not be gas lit. I did used to love their flourless chocolate cake and I'm sad I haven't had it in months because I will not set foot in such an establishment.
One of my favorite local shops for good coffee, treats, and bread. Fresh, made with care. Nice staff.
