Bidra med feedbackSimply my go-to restaurant/bar in Prior Lake. The new menu absolutely covers anyone's tastes, any part of the day for any occasion. Classy enough for date night. Down-home enough for the family and absolutely perfect for a business luncheon or dinner. Warm welcoming service. Great local art on display. Last but not least, priced perfectly.
This place is a hidden gem. Delicious food we had the steak sandwich (so tender! and the arugula prosciutto pizza. Awesome drinks and some music. We will be back!
A not very busy lunch spot that has great food. The Mahi Mahi tacos (Two flour tortillas filled with grilled mahi in a lime cilantro dressing topped with a sweet red cabbage slaw and mango salsa includes chips and salsa) are great but there are only 2 small tacos for $12.95. And there was a little too much dressing.
Every year the Prior Lake wrestling team has a fundraiser in which they sell coupon books. This is a great way for the team to raise money in partnership with local businesses (who then acquire more customers). Noticing the good Yelp reviews and the $10 off coupon for this restaurant, we started our Saturday evening here. I ordered the honey lavender latte which was smooth, flavorful and fresh. We also had the cheese curds which were fantastic, the dill dipping sauce complimented them well. Their chicken nachos were also very good. The chips were generously topped with seasoned grilled chicken and all of the usual toppings. Our server was friendly and regularly filled our beverages. When we attempted to use the coupon however, we were told that it is a scam . Thinking that perhaps she was not aware of the coupon, I showed her the book with details. I also mentioned that all of the other coupons that I 've used from this book have been honored at the businesses. The staff (assuming manager or team lead) informs us that other customers have also attempted to use the same coupon today and that they will not accept it. She then walks away...well that 's kind of a bummer. I still recommend getting some appetizers and drinks here.
Let me say this I have not been here since it opened. When we first went, it was cramped, had small cushioned furniture where you were expected to almost eat in your lap so you can imagine when a friend told me to have breakfast there, I was a little confused. The first time I was in, I ordered a latte and the confusion that was created the I will never come here again monster that I tend to become when I have bad service, even once. Fast forward to this morning. Totally different place! They have the location next door now so it is completely opened up with a bar marrying both halves, one side of the restaurant has the sun on the ceiling and the other has the moon and twinkling stars that were visible during the day. Very artsy, Uptown like (If you are from the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area that will make sense to you not in a NY Uptown kind of way) The menu had such variety, the waitress educated on what they offer and thank the LORD they have gluten free options. I did break down and have the chips and salsa because the waitress went on and on about them as they are made in house. They were pretty delicious but, the chips reminded me of the fried wontons you would get in a Chinese restaurant if you like those you will like these. Just do not want to mislead you. I had the Florentine Panini (no Panini GF bread instead) hubby and daughter went traditional and loved the hash browns. I hear the pumpkin pancakes are to die for today they came with glazed pear slices or something insane like that we decided to go light this morning. This will be our new breakfast spot for sure! Now, we will have to try lunch and dinner
