Bidra med feedbackPepperoni pizza with extra cheese...ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Had the hot Italian sub several times in the past...also absolutely delicious!
We've gone by this place a zillion times but never went in because the outside looks more like a biker hangout. However, we gave it a chance this week and the inside is really nice. Staff was awesome! Couldn't ask for better. Spaghetti and chickendishes were really good. Serving size was perfect. Chicago style pizza was a downer. It was a very thick piece of bread withnormal toppings on it. If you like bread, you may like this. Next time, we'll just get the regular pizza and wait until we'rein Chicago again for the real thing. That's not enough to stop us from going back, we probably will, but there is one thing ifwe experience it again that will stop us. When the door to the outside patio opened, you would have though there was assmoker's convention in the area. It was very bad. I hope that was just a one-time wind caught the smell in the wrong directionoccurrence. If not, perhaps a wind curtain or double doors would help. I still give it a 4 for the ambience, staff, and otherplates we had, and we look forward to a second trip.
Called for a to-go order on a Friday evening (during their posted business hours) and waited a ridiculously long time for someone to answer the phone only for someone to answer the phone with a very rude, We 're closed. No, hello, thank you for calling... and certainly no apologies for closing early and being unable to provide service to their customers. We 've eaten here enough to know that the service is not usually this terrible, so hopefully whoever answered the phone gets fired soon. ???
Top notch. Indoor and outdoor options with entertainment.
Stopped here on the way to Richmond from Williamsburg, and found this place to be a hidden gem. The food was excellent—my Italian sub was great, my oldest kid’s calzone was “one of the best I’ve ever had”, pizza was good, and portions were gigantic. This was capped off by a server who epitomized the term “southern hospitality”. There isn’t a lot on Rt. 60 between Williamsburg and Richmond, but I’ll definitely be stopping here again.
