Gregg's - Providence

A Necessary Stop!. I only go to Rhode Island two times a year, and a visit to Gregg's is always on the list. I always go for their dinner special on Monday's or Tuesday's, where you get served a basket of hot dinner rolls, a choice of an entree (Chicken Parmesan, Meatloaf, or a Fish option), your choice of a salad or soup, a dessert, and a beverage--beer or wine. Not only do you get all that at one low price, but, they have generous portions too. The food is finger licking good, and their cakes and desserts are one's you won't want to miss. If dining in, try their Hot Apple Crisp a la Mode, or if you're a chocolate fan like myself, try their Death by Chocolate. It's a killer!I always feel like I'm coming home when I eat at Gregg's. The dining room is cozy, and the booths are comfy. Gregg's is a Rhode Island staple, do visit it on your next trip!

I have always loved Gregg's and I continue to go there on a regular basis. I especially love the desserts! You have to try the Death by Chocolate cake. It is simply divine. The portion sizes are really big though so consider meal sharing.

Family and land price. this place has a family and regular eating. that and the fact that it is a mini chain with 4 places around ri is another reason why I usually do not visit a place like this while I travel the country. but my brother and his family are regularly here, so when I came to the city, I went for a ride. supposedly it is a mainstay has it healthy eating, good prices and a lot of directed all kind. as a gastronomic discoverer, I wanted to imagine how eating tasted and whether it was better, then more regular farewell. they have the signed yellow green chip like pickles, which were tasted at our arrival. crisp, tangie and different....read more
