Bidra med feedbackHeads up, there's a new king in Provincetown! Helltown is not a restaurant, it's an experience. The dinner I had there wasn't just incredibly good, it was fun. The menu is ballsy, sexy, innovative, the combinations are brilliant and they take a lot ofrisks. The food is colorful and creative, REALLY spicy, not meant for the faint of heart. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 maincourses and one dessert. The avocado and crab was generous, nutty and creamy, the shrimp had a nice kick to it and dipping thetostones in the hot sauce that came with it was just amazing (I would suggest a little drop of lime on the shrimp though). Thesteak was cooked to perfection, it was a delicious cut, the yucca fries were crunchy and nicely seasoned and the chimichurrisauce was a genius idea. I thought that the coconut curry cod was the absolute best. The fish was soft and tasty, the saucemilky, delicate, like a warm embrace on the palate and the basmati rice soaked all of it and made the overall texture perfect. Ido believe though that the superstar of the meal was the dessert, a marvelous, Mexican style, churro-based cheesecake. Wordscannot possibly describe how delicious it was. A crunchy, sugary base topped with a refreshing cream cheese, delicate notes ofcinnamon that linger in your mouth long after you've had a bite. The drinks were also very well executed, the service was good, nice and professional, nobody rushed us and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I can't wait to go back to Provincetownjust to have dinner there again. Thanks for such a beautiful evening!
We decided to try Helltown Kitchen for dinner last night. The food was amazing from start to finish. Definitely one of the best meals I?ve had in a long time. The presentation was beautiful from the drinks to the dessert. I will definitely be returninghere for dinner next time I am in Provincetown. The service was fabulous as well. Can?t wait to go back!!!!
I thought I would try Helltown based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely everything about the experience was perfect. The owner noticed a funny detail about what I wore and came by to chat casually. Servers were all sweet and attentive. The soup special (yogurt based cucumber popo with grapes as) was amazing. I loved the taste and texture of everything. This place surpassed all my other culinary experiences in PTown. I loved it so much that I returned to brunch the next morning and made a reservation for me and my mother in the evening!
A small restaurant that requires reservations in advance. The cook is Cuban, but he has an excellent job on the Indian Curry pork dish. It is definitely a good place to dinner in Cape Cod.
Phenomenal meal. Probably one of the best in a long time. We started with the avocado with crabs and burrata. Both delicious. Go on to the Cod and Steak. Again amazing aromas and so creatively presented. The service and the outdoor environment were also wonderful. We'll be back.
