Bidra med feedbackOn a breezy early morning along the streets of the Pondy Market when all the shops are still closed, this place will be lined up with bikes on the outside. What calls us inside is the smell of their steaming curry and the boiling filter coffee.<br/ <br/ Start your meal with the Idly and gravy (tastes like Vada curry) which makes you feel satisfied with its ultra-rich and fresh kick. Almost all the tables in this place had one plate of this dish. You could then either go for the Buttery Pongal, Thayir Vada or the Poori. Almost everything was extreme tummy fillers; next up was the SPL Dosa. Unlike the formers, this wasn’t great but still good enough to munch in for a start.<br/ And finally, do not forget to have a sip of their fresh filter coffee which keeps you upbeat until the next stop.<br/ <br/ This is one of the best and most economical spots for brekkie in the town. There’s good seating space and the serving was quick even when there’s good crowd turnout.

Mysore bonda the famous thing here snacks in evening above 60 years they are running best for small lunch and snacks nice veg briyani coffee is the ultimate best here
Good place. Mostly crowded. Love the coffee and South Indian food. Unfortunately menu was limited in the morning. We tried masala dosa, sambar vada, idly and puri masala. Food was great. Though the portion size of sambar must be increased. Rest everything was great specially the strong coffee. You can also buy original coffee powder from there.
It is a MUST VISIT place if you travel to Pondicherry. We had our breakfast here. It is 60 years old and Self-explanatory because of it's building design and structure. I liked the famous Bombay Toast, a must try.
