Le Café Chaplin - Puducherry

Last week I was on my Tamil Nadu trip and visited some of their famous joints to try their uniqueness. My first stop was Pondicherry. The temperature compared to our Amdavadi temperature is moderate. Walking around Pondicherry and taking a break in this very cute little cafe. It has been on my bookmarks list since I was in Pondicherry for college. So finally I have a chance ????. It was an afternoon time so ordering something light and unique. In such a climate, mocktails can work wonders. We ordered- Mint and Lime Soda - 3/5 Unlike other cafes that mix lime juice with soda and mint leaves, they actually made mint and lemon paste into soda. It was in fact fresh and summer drink Mint-Lemon Juice- 3/5 It was the same as the soda. Instead of using soda, they just added chilled water. Everything was the same. Sugar crepe - 2/5 To be in such a beautiful French city and not to try their French cuisine is the dumbest thing to do ???? Crepe is a famous dish that is also sweet and saving. Personally i love sweet dishes so here it was ???? .. I was actually disappointed with the crowd. Speaking of taste, it was decent. Aesthetics - it's a little white cafe. The interior is simple and yet so pure. You feel so relaxed ..

This place is basically known for French cuisine but I don't feel that it all the same Indian flavor. Ambience is good . Tried cheesy omlete which was ok oka and could have been better.
