Shah's Kabob Gyro - Pueblo

Good gyro, I got the green chili gyro. Also side of falafel. The tzatziki was just okay, the flavors seemed a bit off. I like how they do a different spin on your traditional gyro sandwich. But It didn't sit well with me person I was with for some reason.Food: 4/5

I discovered Shah's in Pueblo about four years ago after moving here from Arizona. Bar none you will not find a better gyro anywhere. I've been a connoisseur of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food for years. I've eaten everything on the menu, some more than others but all of the food is fantastic. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and comfortable. You can't ask for more.

I catch myself going here more then I’d like to admit. I am a big foodie and have high standards for my gyro meat. They do such a wonderful job and it is so flavorful with a little crisp. Everything is so good here. It’s clean. And the guys are really nice. They have such a big menu and everything is ?Food: 5/5

I stopped by after leaving therapy. I took one step out of the therapists office and went back in to ask what I was smelling and she directed me here. I would call this a Gyro-fusion style restaurant. I didn 't fully know what a Gyro was when I walked in, but I knew I didn 't like taztziki. The menu was fairly clear about what was in each item, allowing me to steer clear of my undesired condiment. I didn 't know what some of the words were, but the cashier (who was very friendly and personable ? helped fill in some gaps for me. He didn 't judge me when I showed my dis-taste at ordering a meal made primarily with chickpeas (they have a vegetarian menu and instead steered me to what I would like. I let him choose between two entrees to surprise me and I was very pleased with the Mongolian Gyro.For Gyro, fries, baklava, and a small tip I paid around $17-$18.I would note that this is not car food as I learned. Either eat it in the restaurant or wait til you get home because these things can be drippy. I ended up transferring to a paper plate.
