Agua Dulce - Puerto Jimenez

Can only speak about the restaurant, as we have not stayed here. The service was great both times we ate here. There is a good variety of drinks and meals available, including vegetarian options. The food was fresh and tasty, with great portion sizes. Value for money spent is very good. The beach here is fun as long as you are OK with waves. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice, and other people were enjoying it.

Great place if you want to be remote. Must speak a good bit of Spanish. The beaches are amazing. No wifi in the room and hot water is not available. Dogs and great people.

Better to find something else very basic rooms with no WiFi the restaurant area and facilities very basic the food very poor and on most occasions didn’t come in the order it was ordered even when you preordered all in all try find something else

We would never sleep in this hotel! We booked our room and need to pay it but haven’t sleep there because of lizzard dirt mouse excretions on our pillows! After this experience we booked another hotel in the same night. We have not got our money back and the women at the reception was hard to understand because of this issue. Location: the way to the hotel was super rough and heavy. We are highly experienced 4x4 driver and it was the worst street we found in the south of Costa Rica

The property is run down. It is 20 mins drive from Puerto Jimenez on very bad dirt road with quarter of mile of deep sand at the end. Don't try to make it if you rented a sedan. When I was going there I had to wait for another vehicle that got stuck in the sand in front of me. Booked 3 night stay, for there two reasons didn't stay there canceled when I was able to get there. They pretended they didn't understand anything and charged my credit cars for 3 night stay. Trying to get my money back...
