Bidra med feedbackAnother Round is a fantastic local bar worth checking out! They boast about having the best buns, and I have to say, I agree. A few friends and I from work visited recently, and the new owners were running the bar that night. They were very welcoming and know how to make some seriously tasty burgers! I loved the service, the atmosphere, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Although it took us 25 minutes to drive to Pulaski, it was definitely worth the trip!
I dropped by for their Saturday special—burgers for just $1.50 (add 25 cents for cheese) from 11 AM to 6 PM. They’re known for having the best buns in town, and I can definitely see why! These hearty buns truly melt in your mouth. They also have great daily specials, including a breakfast skillet for 99 cents on Sundays, 40-cent wings on Tuesdays, $1 tacos on Wednesdays, Pot Luck Thursdays featuring everything from beef stew to meatloaf, and free fries with a sandwich purchase on Fridays. Plus, there's free pool on Fridays! The atmosphere is fun, like a cozy little dive bar, but it’s clean. The staff was friendly and attentive, making a great effort to engage in conversation whenever they weren’t busy cooking.
Update... Apparently it's taco Wednesday, not Tuesday. Sorry for any inconvenience. Everything else that I wrote previously, still applies. It's a small neighborhood bar. Lots of regulars who all seemed happy to be there. The two bartenders that we have seen were laughing and joking with all the customers.
1. There are a lot of people smoking pot, and the back area isn't a pleasant place to be. 2. The crowd tends to be quite drunk and rowdy. While it's a bar and people do drink, the overwhelming intoxication of the patrons, which seems to happen daily, makes it unappealing for me. 3. There's one bartender who is extremely rude. I had a negative experience with her when I simply asked about the food. She cursed at me, and I can’t see myself returning while she’s working. 4. Smoking is allowed inside late at night when it’s slow, and the staff doesn’t seem to care about it. 5. Some regulars can be quite rude as well. It's worth checking out, but set your expectations low. However, Taco Wednesday is fantastic! If you decide to go, make sure it’s on that day because the owner is usually there, bringing homemade and garden-fresh ingredients. Just be cautious; the rude bartender often works on that day too, and she might shortchange you on the tacos.
Great place for lunch. On Saturday they had $1.50 burgers and homemade soup. They where very quick to serve and they have Stella. Great place.
